Circle

Circle holds what the heart carries.

What is circle?

Circle is one of the oldest and most natural forms of human connection there is. Women have been gathering in circle for thousands of years — to share, to witness, to heal and to remember that they are not alone.

In a world that moves fast and asks a lot of us, circle offers something rare. A space to slow down, speak honestly and be heard without judgement, without advice and without anyone trying to fix you. Just presence. Just connection. Just you, exactly as you are.

My circles are held with warmth and intention, and no two are ever quite the same. We settle into the space together, we share, we connect, and sometimes we journal, move or sit in silence. The circle always finds its own shape.

As well as women's circles I also hold cacao ceremonies and drumming circles — each one a different doorway into the same essential experience of coming home to yourself and to community.

You do not need to have done anything like this before. You do not need to know what to say. You just need to show up.

This is for you if…

  • You are craving real connection with other women.
  • You want a space to speak and be heard without being advised or fixed.
  • You are feeling isolated and want to find your people.
  • You are curious about ceremony and sacred practice.
  • You simply want somewhere to land.

What to expect

Each circle lasts around 90 minutes and is held in a warm, welcoming space where you will always be received with kindness. Circles are available both in person on the Costa Brava and online for those who can't be there in person.

We begin by settling in together — taking a breath, arriving fully and leaving the outside world at the door. From there the circle opens. There may be sharing, journaling, music, movement or simply sitting together in stillness. Every circle finds its own rhythm and is shaped by the women in the room.

There is no agenda and no performance. You will never be put on the spot or asked to share more than you want to. This is your space as much as it is anyone else's.

We close the circle with intention, and you are welcome to stay and connect afterwards.

In person

Just yourself. Wear something you feel comfortable in. A journal if you like to write, though there will always be paper available if not.

Online

Find a quiet, comfortable space where you won't be disturbed. Have a drink you love nearby, a blanket if you want one, and your journal if you like to write. Joining from home doesn't make the experience any less real — the circle holds you just the same.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have done anything like this before?
Not at all. Many women come to their first circle not quite knowing what to expect — and leave wondering why they waited so long.
Will I have to speak?
You are always invited to share but never required to. Witnessing is just as valuable as speaking, and silence is always welcome.
What is a cacao ceremony?
Cacao ceremonies centre around the drinking of ceremonial grade cacao — a plant medicine that is gentle, heart opening and grounding. We drink together with intention, and the cacao supports a deeper sense of presence and connection throughout the circle.
What is a drumming circle?
Drumming circles use rhythmic sound and percussion to bring the group into a shared state of presence. No experience or musical ability is needed — just a willingness to feel the beat and let go.
Who are the circles for?
My women's circles are for any woman who feels called. Cacao ceremonies and drumming circles are open to everyone. All are welcome regardless of background or experience.
What if I feel emotional?
That is completely welcome. Circle is a safe space and tears, laughter and everything in between are all part of it. You will never be alone in what you feel.
Do the online circles work as well as in person?
Yes. It might feel strange at first to gather on a screen, but the connection that forms in an online circle is just as real. Women often say they are surprised by how held they feel joining from their own home.
What do I need for an online circle?
A quiet space where you won't be disturbed, a stable internet connection and something comfortable to sit on. Have a drink you love nearby and your journal if you like to write.
